Super Seniors: Annie Jeckel

Annie Jeckel

Editor’s note: The Steamboat Pilot & Today asked readers to tell us about their favorite seniors over the age of 75 and then we asked these Super Seniors to share their secrets to living a long and healthy life.

Annie Jeckel

Super powers: Annie Jeckel hikes every day in the summer and snowshoes or skis daily in the winter. On her birthday, it is a given that she hikes on spring snow up to the top of Storm Peak to Buddy Werner’s sculpture. Annie still actively works in a local pet store and loves to garden. She loves to volunteer and can be found helping out at the Yampa River Botanic Park or the Strings Music Festival tent.
