With the lineup released on Thursday, Steamboat Resort has seven free concerts planned for the 2024 Bud Light Rocks the Boat free concerts series.

On tap for the series this year are seven bands in March and April, including Donavon Frankenreiter & Goodnight Texas on March 9, Lowdown Brass Band on March 16, Boot Juice on March 23, Maggie Rose on March 30, The Goonies on April 6, The Lil Smokies on April 13 and The Wailers on April 14.

However, kicking things off will be Big Sam’s Funky Nation, which will perform Monday as part of the Bud Light Cowboy Downhill.

While the first concert will be in January and paired with one of the resort’s signature events, the remainder of the free concert series will come in the months of March and April.

All of the concerts are free, and they will be on the stage in Steamboat Square at the base of the resort beginning around 3:30 p.m. The lone exception will be the Bud Light Cowboy Downhill concert, which will start at 2:30 p.m.

“The Bud Light Rocks the Boat concert series is a tradition we look forward to each winter season,” said Dave Hunter, resort lead for Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. “With the addition of The Range Food & Drink Hall, Steamboat Square is the perfect venue to celebrate another incredible season alongside our guests and locals with a great lineup of music.”

The Timber & Torch terrace and the deck at The Range provide a great viewing location for all the free concerts. For more information on the bands, go to steamboat.com/events.
