Sailors to host KIPP Denver Collegiate in next round of 3A state soccer tournament
Steamboat nets 4-1 win over Berthoud

The Steamboat Springs High School boys soccer team earned a 4-1 victory over the Berthoud Spartans on Wednesday night at Gardner Field in the first round of the Colorado High School Activities Association 3A state soccer tournament.
Steamboat was led by Nathan Rind, who scored three goals, and Cesar Carrillo. who scored the other. The No. 3-seeded Steamboat Sailors now advance to the second round, where they will host No. 14 KIPP Denver Collegiate at 5 p.m. Nov. 4 at Gardner Field.
Admission to the game is free, but donations are gratefully accepted at the gate to support the Steamboat Sailors soccer program.
