John Aloysius Bennan Jr. passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the age of 62 in Steamboat Springs, CO.

Born to John Aloysius Bennan and Patricia Patterson Bennan, he was raised in Winnetka, IL, before moving with his family to Prescott, AZ, in 1976. He pursued his education at Northern Arizona University and the University of Colorado, Boulder, earning a B.S. in Chemistry and an MBA. His career in biotech and pharmaceutical consulting took him around the world, where he shared his expertise and insight with dedication and passion.

John embraced life fully, finding immense joy in his family and friends. The beauty of the mountains always called to him, and he was happiest skiing, cooking, entertaining, and spending time in a cherished corner of Ireland. His booming laughter could fill a room, and his love for life was infectious. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Above all, John’s greatest joy was his daughters. They were his focus, his pride, and his heart.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Claire and Caroline; his parents, John and Patricia; his brother, Michael (Kelly) Bennan; his sister, Elizabeth (Lincoln) Ellis; and his nephews, Jack and Michael.
