Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was paged to the area of Colorado Highway 131 and Routt County Road 22 on Friday afternoon to help with an agricultural burn. The fire was under control as of Friday evening.
A joint letter issued this week from local Routt County fire chiefs reminded citizens “this winter has presented us with a stark reality: our snowpack is currently at approximately 63% of its historical median.”
