YVHA to host informational event for The Cottonwoods
The Yampa Valley Housing Authority will host an informational event about The Cottonwoods at Mid Valley from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10 at The Boathouse, 609 Yampa St.
According to a statement released by YVHA Communications and Community Engagement Coordinator John Fancher, short presentations are scheduled for 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., with additional time for group or one-on-one conversations.
Prospective buyers must complete a homeownership pre-screening form, now available online, to determine eligibility. Those who qualify will be invited to apply later this month and may enter a lottery for unit selection in early 2026. YVHA officials remind prospective homeowners that eligibility to purchase at The Cottonwoods does not guarantee financial approval.
