Tickets on sale for Local Dance Collective
Tickets are on sale for the annual Local Dance Collective, which will take place at the Strings Music Festival pavilion at 7 p.m. this Friday and Saturday.
The annual performance is a fundraiser for the Steamboat Dance Theatre’s scholarship and community support programs.
The performance showcases Steamboat Springs dance studios, local performers and artists from the community.
It encompasses many different styles of dance including hip-hop, ballet, belly dancing and salsa. The performances are suitable for all ages and raised more than $70,000 last year.
“These performances benefit Steamboat Dance Theatre’s scholarship and community programs, which last year totaled over $70K into the community,” said Lori Biagi, Steamboat Dance Theatre executive director. “We are hoping to make this year even more impactful.”
