Steamboat Swings set to host ‘Harvest Dance’ on Sept. 19
Steamboat Swings, a nonprofit organization with a mission to expand the local dance community, is inviting dancers and community members to its Harvest Dance from 6-10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19 at the Bud Werner Memorial Library in Library Hall.
The event, featuring lessons taught by champion instructors Tashina Beckmann-King and Nicholas King followed by a social dance, is open to dancers of all levels, and no experience or partner is needed.
“We’re excited to bring world-class instruction and joyful dancing to the Yampa Valley,” said Todd Millard, co-founder of Steamboat Swings. “This event is about more than just dancing — it’s about creating connection, joy and community.”
A $10 suggested donation will be accepted at the door to help fund future community dance events.
