Steamboat Springs to see cold front Sunday
Pleasant weather with temperatures in the mid to high 60s is expected for Saturday, followed by a cold front and possible snowfall on Sunday and Monday, according to local meteorologist Mike Weissbluth’s twice-weekly report on SnowAlarm.com.
After Friday’s mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-50s, Saturday is expected to warm to nearly 60 degrees.
Sunday will see a cold snap as a storm approaches, bringing possible snowfall Monday morning with temperatures in the 40s.
“While precipitation amounts are uncertain, colder temperatures are not; expect high temperatures to start the week in the forties,” wrote Weisbluth. “It will eventually be cold enough for snowflakes in town by Monday morning, possibly with some light accumulations on grassy surfaces.”
