Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. has finalized its purchase of the Gravity Haus Steamboat property, according to a statement released Thursday. 

The acquisition includes the Gravity Haus hotel, White Rabbit Tavern and Unravel Coffee + Bar located at the resort’s base area. Operations will remain unchanged, with the current staff and membership model continuing, and no alterations planned for guest reservations or benefits.

“We’re proud to bring Gravity Haus Steamboat into our lodging portfolio,” said Ski Corp. Vice President of Lodging Blair McNamara in the statement. “This property has played an important role in the landscape of the Steamboat base area for decades and we look forward to honoring that legacy, supporting the dedicated Gravity Haus team and widening the variety of lodging experiences available to our guests.”

“Gravity Haus is energized to build upon this new chapter with Steamboat, who shares our commitment to inspire adventure and foster community,” said Gravity Haus President Mike DeFrino in the statement. “Together, we look forward to elevating the Gravity Haus experience for our members and guests, while contributing to the legacy and limitless possibility of Steamboat Springs.”

The purchase aligns with Ski Corp.’s strategic plan to carefully grow the company’s presence in lodging and hospitality, aiming to improve the guest experience and drive sustainable long-term development.
