Steamboat seeks input on Emerald Park Playground design
Five-question poll will narrow interest on themes and features
Steamboat Springs has issued a five-question survey to gauge the community’s interest in the theme and features of the new Emerald Park Playground.
“It’s our desire to have as many segments of the community as possible weigh in on the design,” said Parks Project Manager Aaron Stafford, in a news release. “The online survey is a quick and easy way, can be done on any device, and from anywhere — even while on spring break. It’s an ideal way to ensure your thoughts and wishes are known by the design team.”
The online survey can be found at SurveyMonkey.com/r/SBJ9TFL. The poll includes three multiple-choice questions and two open comments, to help understand the community’s priorities. The survey will close at the end of April.
The project is the largest playground replacement to date and will move beyond the existing playground footprint with new play features, seating spaces, shaded structures and wayfinding.
The city is partnering with Design Concepts for the project.
