Steamboat Springs resident Jenny Knickerbocker, regional vice president of operations for Destination Hospitality, was named the Manager of the Year for the 2025 Colorado Restaurant Association Hospitality Awards, according to a Tuesday news release.

The Colorado Restaurant Association Hospitality Awards, or HOSPYS, spotlight individuals behind the state’s vibrant hospitality scene, honoring excellence, creativity and leadership in the restaurant and food and beverage business.

The winners were recognized during the second annual HOSPY Awards Gala on Monday at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

“There’s nothing more rewarding than recognizing the individuals who pour everything they have into
this industry,” said President and CEO of the Colorado Restaurant Association Sonia Riggs, in a statement. “When we celebrate them, we also honor what local restaurants mean to Colorado. Much more than just places to eat, restaurants are gathering spaces that help shape the character and identity of our communities.”
