Steamboat briefs: Rocky Mountain Rentals is selling fuel in North Routt
Hahn’s Peak Roadhouse isn’t the only option for fuel in northern Routt County. Jody Wagoner said Tuesday that she’s offering non-ethanol, high-octane fuel at Steamboat Lake Marina through her business, Rocky Mountain Rentals. The 92-octane fuel was selling for $4.05 per gallon Tuesday, she said.
Citing economic reasons, the Clark Store recently stopped selling fuel at its pumps.
Steamboat and Winter Park bring back 4by40 program
Steamboat Ski Area and Winter Park Resort again have teamed up to offer the 4by40 pass. The pass, available through Jan. 31, costs $229 and provides two days of lift tickets each at Steamboat and Winter Park. The pass is available online only, and the tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable.
First introduced last winter, the 4by40 program — a play on the fact both resorts are located along U.S. Highway 40 — also offers discount lodging add-ons at both resorts. For more information, visit http://www.skicolorado.com.
