The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club announced its annual Winter Carnival Button Artwork Contest for the 113th Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival, with the deadline to submit being Nov. 9.

Young artists — 18 years old and under and enrolled in a local school or home-schooled — are invited to create the button for the 113th Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival theme: Dream Like A Champion.

The artwork must be in a circle that fills an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper. Any medium that translates well onto a flat button may be used.

To submit artwork, artists must scan or photograph the art and upload the file to the Google Form by Nov. 9.

All entries must be original artwork. The winning artist will be notified at the beginning of December. Artwork may be used on 2026 113th Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival banners, posters, websites, and digital and print publications and media.

The 113th Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival will take place Feb. 3 through 8, 2026.
