Routt Republicans to honor Lockhart with Patriot of the Year award

The Routt County Republicans have announced Cookie Lockhart as the winner of the party’s Patriot of the Year award.
“We are honored to give the Patriot of the Year award to Cookie Lockhart in 2025. When selecting our awardee we focus on people we admire, have been a significant contributor to our community and promote conservative values, we knew immediately Cookie was our 2025 recipient,” said Heather DeVos, the party’s chair, in a statement.
Lockhart will be honored at the party’s 2nd Annual Rise Together RoundUp event on Sunday, Sept. 28. The event will take place 5-8 p.m at The Lounge/E3 at 2165 Pine Grove Rd. in Steamboat.
