The Routt County Economic Development Partnership has opened participation in its annual Yampa Valley Business Retention and Expansion Study, aimed at assessing the health and needs of local enterprises that make up the bulk of the area’s economy, according to a statement released Wednesday.

The study gathers confidential feedback from business owners on challenges ranging from access to funding and technical resources to regulatory issues and networking opportunities.

“We are focused on providing targeted support to local businesses across the Yampa Valley,” said RCEDP Director of Existing Industry Keith Hensley in the statement. “By dedicating 10-15 minutes to complete the survey, business owners are helping our community build a better business environment that ultimately improves their bottom line.”

Survey participants will be entered into three drawings for $100 gift cards. Insights from the survey guide RCEDP’s efforts to strengthen local business support systems, develop responsive programs and address barriers to growth.
