The Routt Recreation & Conservation Roundtable is recruiting for applicants for five vacant seats representing the recreation areas of hunting and fishing, land trusts, ranching and farming; along with road and gravel biking and trail running.
The collaborative roundtable founded in 2019 is a diverse, representative body that provides non-binding input to agencies and organizations undertaking recreation and conservation activities in Routt County. The roundtable is part of the Colorado Outdoor Regional Partnership network funded by Colorado Parks & Wildlife and Great Outdoors Colorado.
In addition to providing input and recommendations to local land management agencies and related organizations, the roundtable also is implementing project priorities within its Conservation & Recreation Strategy.
Members meet for 2.5 hours every other month in Steamboat Springs and voluntarily participate in regular, virtual subcommittee meetings to implement current project priorities. Applications are due Sept. 2 with the form and more information online at Routtrcr.org.
