The Steamboat Springs boys tennis team competed at the regional tournament in Grand Junction on Wednesday and Thursday last week, with three players qualifying for the state tournament this Thursday through Sunday.

Three Steamboat Springs boys tennis team players will compete at the state tournament this week in Pueblo after big wins at the regional tournament last week in Grand Junction.

  • No. 1 singles — Ibrokhim Nuriddinov, 2nd place, qualified for state 
  • No. 2 singles — Preston Gautreaux, 2nd place, qualified for state 
  • No. 3 singles — Team Captain Matthew MacEntee, 3rd place, qualified for State 
  • No. 1 doubles — Gabriel Merage and Team Captain Garrett Moyer, 4th place
  • No. 3 doubles — Will Volk and Coen Dore, 3rd place
