New experience dubbed ‘Fire and Ice’ to debut at upcoming Winter Carnival
The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club is launching a new event for the upcoming Winter Carnival next month.
Named the “Fire and Ice: Winter Carnival Night Show Experience,” the new ticketed event features a heated tent, food, beverages, a live DJ, first-class views, fire pits, s’mores and an outside bar.
Fire and Ice will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 7 at the party tent at the base of Howelsen Hill. Tickets are now on sale: $90 for adults and $75 for ages 4-20. Adult tickets include two drink tickets. Fire and Ice is free for ages 3 and under.
Additionally a cash bar is available for when drink tickets run dry.
Other shows include an athlete exhibition at 6 p.m., an America 250-Colorado 150 Steamboat drone show at 6:45 p.m. by the State of Colorado and the Winter Carnival Night Show Extravaganza at 7 p.m.
All Winter Carnival events require a $15 button to participate.
The 113th Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival will take place Feb. 3-8 with events at Howelsen Hill and on Lincoln Ave.
