LiftUp to kick off capital campaign on Wednesday at Snow Bowl concert and fundraising event
The Steamboat Springs community is invited to The Concert for LiftUp, an evening of live music and fundraising this Wednesday, Oct. 1 at Snow Bowl, according to a Saturday news release.
The event, which doubles as LiftUp’s announcement of their capital campaign, will feature acclaimed local band Mr. Junior alongside special guest artists Pat Waters of Wish You Were Pink, Jon Gibbs of Heads All Empty, Fritz Boniface of Deer Creek Sharp Shooters and Kay McKenzie of Little Moon Travelers.
For groups of six or larger looking to enjoy the show with more space, covered pergolas are available for $300. To reserve, contact Interim Development Director Nancy Engelken by Wednesday morning at Development@LiftUpRC.org. All proceeds from pergola sales will benefit LiftUp’s capital campaign aimed at expanding its facility to better serve Routt County neighbors.
The event is sponsored by Snow Bowl and Family Bowl, Alpine Bank, Central Park Management, Northwest Data Services, Sloop Painting, Steamboat Radio and Yampa Valley Bank.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m with a $20 suggested donation.
