Library to host free screening of new Temple Grandin documentary on Wednesday, Sept. 17
The Bud Werner Memorial Library will host a free community screening of the award-winning documentary “An Open Door” on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at Library Hall, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
The film highlights the life and work of Dr. Temple Grandin, a renowned advocate for humane livestock treatment, autism awareness and neurodiversity.
Featuring interviews with Grandin, her peers and leaders in the field, the documentary explores how her lived experience and unique way of thinking visually shaped her groundbreaking contributions to both agriculture and autism advocacy.
