Intersection of Pine Grove Road and U.S. 40 to close on Friday

The intersection of Pine Grove Road and U.S. Highway 40 will be closed from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday as crews complete base installation, according to a news release from the city of Steamboat Springs.
Traffic will be directed to the following detours established in the area:
- Southbound U.S. 40 — Use Anglers Drive to Rollingstone Drive
- Northbound U.S. 40 — Use Mt. Werner Road to Central Park Drive
- Access to Safeway will be available via U.S. 40 and Anglers Drive
Flaggers will be located at the Ore House Plaza entrance to help navigate vehicles in and out of the plaza area.
“We understand this is a highly traveled area and appreciate your patience as crews work quickly to complete the project in the safest and most efficient approach,” states the release.
