Free women’s health, wellness seminars continue Aug. 18

Old Town Hot Springs in Steamboat Springs is offering a series of free, public Women’s Health and Wellness seminars that continue 5:30-7 p.m. Aug. 18 with “Nutrition for Hormonal Health.”
The Aug. 18 seminar will be led by chef Alex Mathisen and is designed to help women understand how nutrition can support the changes experienced during perimenopause and menopause.
The session will begin with a informative presentation on the role of food in hormonal health, followed by a live cooking demonstration featuring simple, nourishing recipes.
The next Women’s Health and Wellness seminars at OTHS in downtown Steamboat will be “Strength and Resistance Training Guidelines” on Sept. 17 and “Mindset Goals and Training” on Oct. 15. No pre-registration is necessary.
