Community ski and sports swap to be held Oct. 25
The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club’s annual Ski and Sport Swap will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 25 at Howelsen Hill, inviting the community to sell and shop for great deals on new and used ski, snowboard and outdoor equipment.
Early bird shopping will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and costs $15 per person. Tickets for early bird shopping will be sold at the door. Public shopping will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free.
Consignment tags are available now at the SSWSC office between noon and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Items for consignment must be sorted, tagged and dropped off within the designated drop-off hours between noon and 6 p.m. on Oct. 23, or between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 24, at the Howelsen Hill parking lot.
Participants must pick up unsold consignment items between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on the day of the swap. Items not picked up will be disposed of or donated.
SSWSC retains 35% of each sale, with proceeds benefiting SSWSC athletes. Checks will be mailed within two weeks after the sale. A sales report of sold items will be provided at the end of the day of the swap.
