Colorado state parks to offer free entry to veterans and military on Nov. 11
The free day of access is a thank you to veterans and members of the military, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife

Colorado Parks and Wildlife will offer veterans, active-duty military personnel, and members of the National Guard free entry to state parks on Nov. 11.
The veterans and military members can visit any state park for free that day by presenting proof of military service, according to a news release. All other state park fees remain in effect, including camping reservations, boat and off-highway vehicle registrations, and hunting and fishing licenses.
Vehicles that display a Colorado Disabled Veteran or Purple Heart license plate receive free entry to all state parks year-round.
