The city of Steamboat Springs is seeking public feedback through Sept. 19 for its new draft of the Community Plan, according to an update on Engage Steamboat

A culmination of an 18‑month effort with Routt County, the proposed Community Plan aims to give city leaders a shared set of values, goals and land-use strategies to guide future growth in the city.

The plan is designed to knit together existing community priorities while also creating a policy backbone for zoning updates, development standards and programs that address both immediate local challenges and long-term needs.

The draft, including the future land-use district plan, is now open for public review. Residents are encouraged to submit feedback through Sept. 19 before a final draft is prepared for city council’s consideration.
