‘AI for Everyone’ talk Thursday at Library Hall

Almost everyone has questions about artificial intelligence, as AI makes its presence known on everything from smart phones and speakers to web searches — so Bud Werner Memorial Library is hosting the free, educational presentation “AI for Everyone” 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Library Hall.

Speaker and Routt County resident Andy Pratt plans an engaging talk that cuts through the hype to explain what AI and machine learning really are by using simple, everyday examples that citizens already know.

“Discover how this powerful technology is shaping our world and learn how you can use it to help your work or business,” talk organizers said.

Pratt is an analytical and creative professional who blends his expertise in data science and full-stack development. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in data science. For more information, visit SteamboatLibrary.org/calendar.
