Advocates of Routt County is hosting a multi-day training designed to educate the community on social injustice and how to strengthen social equity, starting Tuesday, Oct. 21 and running through Friday, Oct. 24 at Bud Werner Memorial Library’s Library Hall.

Each day of the training will center around a theme, pairing education with action.

Themes will include understanding the systems of power — including a talk from anti-oppression speaker and trainer Regan Byrd — as well as violence, exploitation and lived experience, inclusive advocacy in practice and protecting and healing our communities.

Coffee, tea and pastries will be served each morning, and a full lunch will be provided Tuesday. Light snacks will also be provided.

There is a suggested donation of $25; however, all ticket packages are free.
