29029 endurance event coming to Steamboat next year
Travel adventure brand 29029 is expanding its 2026 endurance experiences to Steamboat Springs next August, according to a news release.
The Steamboat event is scheduled for Aug. 13-16, with more information available at 29029everesting.com/products/steamboat-2026.
“29029 will kick off the 2026 climbing season in June, returning to one of our most beloved locations, Snowbasin, Utah,” said Marc Hodulich, founder and CEO of 29029, in a statement. “When we started this company eight years ago, we knew people would keep coming back for more, so growing our footprint with new locations has always been a priority to keep our community challenged and inspired.”
The endurance event invites participants to climb a mountain multiple times over 36 hours until they reach the vertical equivalent of Mt. Everest: 29,029 feet.
“Supported by premium amenities, expert coaching, and an inspiring community, every ascent pushes participants to discover new strength within themselves,” states the release. “This isn’t a race. It’s you vs. you. And it’s not just about summiting a mountain — it’s about becoming the person who can.”
