Can we please have bus service to the airport? This is ridiculous that the fat pace of growth in Routt County doesn’t have public transport to and from the airport.
This is twice that I have arrived at the airport after typical delays at DIA forcng me to arrive after hours at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden. I saw a group of four other people heading to a local hotel in Steamboat that were also stranded at the airport as they were ushering us out to close facility.
There were no rideshares, taxis, rental cars or another options for us. Lyft / Uber do not allow scheduling a ride.
Admittedly I will plan accordingly for the next time, trying to arrive at midday, with prearranged transit options.
The Yampa Valley Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) is still in its planning phase. Can we at least have regular bus service from the airport to downtown Hayden , Craig and a transit point in steamboat sooner?
