Like many Coloradans, I’ve grown increasingly frustrated watching Washington become more focused on partisan gamesmanship than solving real problems. Families, workers, retirees and small business owners across Colorado are facing challenges that politicians love to talk about but rarely address. That’s why I decided to run for Congress.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a businesswoman, a community advocate and someone who believes public service should be about serving people, not advancing political careers.

Throughout Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District, I hear the same concerns again and again. The cost of living continues to rise. Housing has become increasingly unaffordable. Energy costs remain high. Small businesses face growing regulatory burdens. Too many people feel like they are working harder than ever just to stay in the same place financially.

Washington often treats these issues as talking points. I see them as real problems affecting real people.

My top priority is restoring affordability. The federal government cannot solve every challenge facing our communities, but it can stop making many of them worse. Congress should focus on responsible spending, reducing unnecessary regulations, encouraging domestic energy production and creating an environment where businesses can grow, hire and invest in their communities.

As a business owner, I understand the challenges employers face. I’ve seen firsthand how inflation, labor shortages, excessive regulations and rising operating costs affect both businesses and consumers. The people making decisions in Washington should have experience creating jobs and managing budgets — not just talking about them.

I also believe Colorado’s natural beauty and outdoor heritage are worth protecting. Conservation should focus on practical stewardship that balances environmental responsibility with the needs of local communities. We can protect our public lands, forests, rivers and wildlife while also supporting the industries and workers who help drive our economy.

Education remains another critical issue. Parents deserve a meaningful voice in their children’s education, and students deserve opportunities that prepare them for success, whether they choose college, trade schools, military service, or careers in the workforce. We should focus on academic excellence and practical outcomes rather than political agendas.

Public safety is equally important. Strong communities depend on safe neighborhoods, effective law enforcement and support for first responders. We owe it to our communities to ensure those who protect us have the resources and support they need to do their jobs effectively.

Most importantly, I believe elected officials should remember who they work for. The people of Colorado’s 2nd District deserve a representative who listens, remains accessible and is willing to work with anyone who shares a genuine desire to improve the lives of the people we serve.

This campaign isn’t about political parties or political careers. It’s about restoring trust, improving affordability, protecting opportunity and ensuring that future generations inherit a Colorado that remains a great place to live, work and raise a family.

I am asking for your support because I believe Colorado deserves representation focused on results rather than rhetoric. Together, we can build a stronger and more prosperous future for our communities.
