My name is Christina Blunt (Ducommun), lifelong Republican, and I want your vote to represent you in Congress for Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District.

I am a business owner, single Mom and strong constitutionalist. I stand on Christ and the Bible, the Constitution and bullets. I believe in affordable everything, tariffs and bill writing by the citizens of Colorado CD 2. I will provide a bill writer for citizens to work with.

I am a longtime resident of Colorado. I learned how to swim in the Steamboat Springs swimming pool. I spent pre-K to 3rd grade in Craig and Hayden. I learned about importing voters during my time in El Paso, Texas. Watching pregnant women in labor walk across the border to give birth here. Returning to middle school in Wellington, Colorado. While my parents took us all over, Colorado has remained home. My daughter was born in Fort Collins, Colorado. Her family has deep roots in Grand County and the Ducommun family name.

I believe in fiscal responsibility. I believe in DOGE (the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency) and continuing to shred the spending and turn this ship around so that Americans prosper. When Americans prosper, the world prospers.

I believe in finding the best solutions that are low cost, easy to implement and deliver long-lasting results. I sent an email to our superintendent that has saved the school district $1 million. I want to hear from everyone. I want your ideas and solutions.

Crime. The best way to get crime down is to get in front of it. Most crime stems from lack of opportunity. It is vital to overhaul education and get our youth moving in the direction of their dreams as fast as possible. It’s time to fully embrace Executive Order 14278, Preparing Americans for High-Paying Skilled Trade Jobs of the Future. The best way to deter crime is to provide opportunity, before they end up in jail where education is free for them.

I believe in our law enforcement in all forms. Our military. My grandfather, Doyle Haskel Dickey, was a Sergeant, 319th Infantry, WWII Purple Heart and Oak Leaf Cluster recipient. His sons and grandchildren followed in his footsteps. My uncles and cousins all proudly served. I was injured in a car accident on the way to take the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery). My injuries ended my dreams of military service.

I believe in teachers! I have fed every adult in every school my daughter has been in since second grade; she is in high school. I also believe we need to get the money into the classroom; teachers should not have to pay to decorate their classrooms. I will be making the necessary changes to let teachers teach. I will be calling on teachers to provide their input to make classrooms greater than ever! I have ideas.

I have volunteered my time, services and money to the benefit of others my entire life. I was one of the early volunteers for the Phoenix Children’s Museum. My friend’s sister started it. Kelley Fitsimmons, my friend, is still the director today from our very beginnings as a mobile museum on a bus. I was the original Secretary for Project Sanctuary, a nonprofit started by my friend Heather Ehle Ray to help veterans and their families. I have donated countless hours and services for many causes. I have volunteered with PSI Seminars for the belief of “Peace to the World One Mind at a Time.”

While I have worked my entire career as a hairstylist business owner, I have also obtained my bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in leadership. I have completed all of the leadership courses required to be a school principal. I have been in the service industry, delivering results within 10 minutes. I will not only fight for you; I will deliver results. I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the National Society of Leadership and Success and other outstanding merits.

I am here to serve all of the people of Colorado CD 2. I want to hear from you!
