Bud Werner Memorial Library to screen ‘Will & Harper’ documentary Thursday
The Bud Werner Memorial Library will partner with local nonprofit Queer Futures to screen “Will & Harper,” a documentary following actor Will Ferrell and his longtime friend Harper Steele, on Thursday, June 18 at 7 p.m in Library Hall, states a Tuesday news release.
After Steele comes out as a trans woman, the two take a 17-day road trip to process their new chapter of friendship. The film, nominated for an Emmy, premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and won both a Peabody Award and the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Documentary.
The event is free and open to the public.
