Obituary: Walter (Wally) Cerise

Walter “Wally” John Cerise, Jr., 74, of Steamboat Springs, passed away on June 10, 2026. Born on January 24, 1952, in Colorado, Wally was a beloved husband, father, and friend who dedicated his life to serving others.
Wally enjoyed a distinguished career as a manager at Holiday Inn, where he dedicated over 30 years before retiring. Wally was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.
Wally is survived by his devoted wife Laury; his father, Walter (Beulah); his brother Mike (Sheri); and his sons, Parker and Andrew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen, and his brothers, Martin and Dave.
Rest in peace, Wally. You will be greatly missed.
