Obituary: Elizabeth Dickey

October 17, 1942 – January 4, 2025

Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Dickey, aged 82, died in Auburn, Illinois. She was born in North Carolina to Alice and Bill Grayson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Heinie Harms, her brother Tom Grayson, and her sons Darin Dickey and Doug Dickey.
She is survived by her sister Joyce Grayson Adcock, her half-brother Rob Grayson, her former spouse Robert Dickey, her son Dwain (Lee), grandson Patrick (Caitlin), granddaughter Theresa Dickey, two great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
She lived in Steamboat Springs from 1973 to 2022 and was known locally from working at El Rancho Restaurant and later owning Betty’s Bargain Barn.
A private service will be held later this year.
