The Bike Match Community Bike Shop, a program of nonprofit Routt County Riders, will open for the season on Wednesday offering expanded opportunities for community members to access, repair and donate bicycles.

Located at 2730 Downhill Plaza, Unit 106a, on the west end of Steamboat Springs, the community-focused shop operates from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, excluding holidays. During open hours, cyclists can donate used bikes, be matched with a refurbished bicycle or work on their own bikes with guidance from staff mechanics.

The Bike Match program is designed to support transportation access and promote cycling in the community. By providing affordable bike options and hands-on repair support, the shop aims to reduce barriers to mobility while encouraging sustainable transportation. The Bike Match program serves riders who might otherwise not have access to a bicycle, adults looking to begin or grow as riders, nd families in need of affordable biking options for young riders.

Community members are encouraged support the program through bike donations or volunteering. For more information, visit RouttCountyRiders.org/bikematch or email matthew@routtcountyriders.org.
