Hayden Library’s Reader of the Week is Emma Parrott

The Hayden Public Library has announced Emma Parrot as its first “Reader of the Week” for 2026.
Her favorite book is Rapunzel. In school, she likes learning science and math. Emma’s best friends are Blakeley, Savannah, and Macie. The family has two dogs named Bean & Blue.
The family will be traveling to Idaho in “Peaches,” their camper. Emma’s advice to other kids about reading: “Reading is good for you. It helps you learn!” When she found out she was the Reader of the Week, she was excited, but said she was sad for her little sister, Izzy.
Emma’s favorite colors are pink and purple, and her favorite food is mac ‘n cheese. Her favorite movie is “David,” and her favorite TV show is “Barbie.” She enjoys making puzzles, crafts and playing Legos. She plays soccer, t-ball, and basketball — because her dad did that as a kid.
