The Chartis Center for Rural Health named UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center among the 2025 Top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals in the U.S.
The Chartis Rural Hospital INDEX evaluates hospitals on facility inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, cost, charge and finance.
This is the eighth consecutive year Yampa Valley Medical Center has been recognized and is one of six other Colorado hospitals on this year’s list.
“The team at Yampa Valley Medical Center strives every day to provide not only safe and high-quality health care but also a positive patient experience,” said Soniya Fidler, the hospital’s president in a statement. “Recognitions like these demonstrate that our entire team is delivering on our values – patients first, integrity and excellence.”
