Three men arrested for possession of drugs
Steamboat Springs — Three people from Connecticut were arrested on drug charges Thursday.
Grand, Routt and Moffat Narcotics Enforcement Team, in conjunction with the Steamboat Springs Police Department, apprehended Forrest Runnette, 35, of Norwalk, Conn., Anthony Gesualdi, 34, of Stanford, Conn., and Cyrus Clark, 33, of Darien, Conn., at the Sheraton Resort.
Runnette was reportedly harassing people at the hotel when police detained him and noticed he was under the influence of a drug, said Dwight Murphy, GRAMNET task force commander.
Drug agents determined Runnette was under the influence of a hallucinogen.
Further investigation revealed Gesualdi and Clark, who were sharing a room with Runnette, had drugs in their possession.
Gesualdi and Clark were reportedly sleeping at the time of Runnette’s arrest.
Runnette was arrested for harassment and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. There is no bond.
Gesualdi was arrested for possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana.
His bond is set for $5,000.
Clark was arrested for possession of cocaine and Ecstasy and is being held on a $20,000 bond.
All three men are being held at the Routt County Jail.
