The Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute is welcoming new Chief Executive Officer Ryan Albrecht, who replaces previous CEO Curtis Mayse after he relocated out-of-state.

Albrecht most recently served as chief operating officer of a radiology group based in Omaha, Nebraska that operated in rural locations in 38 states. Prior to that, Albrecht served as COO for Nebraska’s largest orthopedic and neurosurgery group. SOSI reports that Albrecht brings operational and financial experience, business strategy and regulations management to his position.

“With SOSI clinics located across Northwest Colorado and Wyoming, Ryan’s experience leading a multi-location practice will be a benefit,” said Dr. Patrick Johnston, SOSI co-founder and partner. “In addition, he has held a number of diverse roles in health care management and his proven track record of cultivating relationships between business partners, physicians and vendors to nurture collaboration, efficiency and financial growth will be an asset to our business and for our patients.”

“My wife and I are excited to raise our family in Yampa Valley because of the endless outdoor activities, skiing, golfing, tennis, hiking,” Albrecht said. “We also enjoy being ‘foodies’ so we are excited to explore the local food scene.”
