The Routt County Humane Society will host two low-cost, cat-only spay and neuter clinics in Northwest Colorado this June, offering affordable veterinary services aimed at reducing pet overpopulation, according to a statement released Tuesday.
The first clinic is scheduled for Monday, June 1 at Dry Creek Park in Hayden. A second clinic will follow on Tuesday, June 2 at Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply in Craig, with both clinics being held 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Services at both events include spay and neuter surgeries for $25, vaccinations ranging from $20 to $30 and microchipping for $25.
Routt County Humane Society Executive Director Elaine Hicks noted in the statement that spay and neuter services are “one of the most important ways we can reduce pet overpopulation and help keep cats safe, healthy and in loving homes.”
Appointments are required for surgeries and space is limited. Pet owners are encouraged to 970-457-8002 to schedule. All cats must be transported in carriers.
