Put on your best blonde wig and get ready for “Dolly Days”, a weekend-long celebration honoring the legendary Dolly Parton. The Imagination Library of Colorado is coordinating with communities across the state to celebrate Dolly in all kinds of ways.

In Routt County, Wildhorse Arts & Cinema is hosting a full night of events on Friday Sept. 25. Kicking off at 5:30 p.m., activities include a dress-up contest, worst-boss story contest, office olympics, a free movie and karaoke. All funds raised from the event will support the theater along with Colorado Mountain College.

The fun continues in South Routt with a Dolly night at Oak Creek Tavern. Starting at 6 p.m., also on Friday Sept. 25, you can expect Dolly songs all night long paired with a look-a-like contest and giveaways. For every patron who shows up dressed as Dolly, the Tavern will donate $5 to the star’s Imagination Library foundation.
