Letter to the editor: Thank you from the Lions Club

The Steamboat Ski Town Lions Club is sending a heartfelt thank you to the community following their annual pancake breakfast on the Fourth of July.
This year, the Lions Club served over 700 meals at their traditional pancake breakfast, demonstrating strong community support for the beloved event. The breakfast featured the club’s signature pancakes alongside eggs, spicy eggs and sausage.
The success of the event was made possible through the generous support of local businesses and dedicated volunteers. The Egg, Ferrellgas, and Steamboat Meat and Seafood provided essential food distribution and logistics, while the Whiteout Volleyball Club and Scout Troop 194 volunteered their time to help serve the community.
We would especially like to thanks the City of Steamboat Springs for their assistance in permitting, trash removal, and traffic logistics.
All proceeds from the pancake breakfast directly support vital local programs including eye care assistance, educational scholarships, Junior Achievement, Scouts, Lyft Up, and other community-focused initiatives.
Those interested in learning more about the Lions Club and their community work are invited to attend their monthly lunch meeting, held the fourth Tuesday of each month at The Egg at 11:30 a.m.
The Lions Club continues to be a cornerstone of community service in Steamboat Springs, bringing neighbors together while supporting those in need.
