Frances Hohl

Frances Hohl is a contributing writer who covers real estate for the Steamboat Pilot & Today. She grew up in small-town Texas before getting her Bachelor of Science in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and Master of Science in journalism from Northwestern University. Her 32-year career in broadcast and print journalism includes stints in places ranging from Mexico to Washington, D.C. Frances has been visiting or living in Steamboat Springs since 1996. She and her husband, Tom, have a teen daughter and an infamous doodle named Freddy, who gets arrested every now and then.
