Steamboat Ski Resort is looking for a marketing director after the former is leaving for another resort.

The previous director was Morgan Bast, who has taken a role at Snowbird Ski Resort in Utah as Senior Director of Marketing. She had been in the role since March 2021 and prior to coming to Steamboat had worked in marketing for Vail Resorts.

The position will be in charge of the resort’s brand. It will also oversee a 16‑member team across advertising, events, website, customer relations, analytics, content, media and product marketing.



The director will also expected to work with various other team including sales, communications and operations.

The applications should include a resume and a cover letter is encouraged. A good applicant should have five or more years experience and a degree in marketing. Additional experience leading marketing teams is also required.



The starting salary is between $116,000 and $135,000 per year.
