Oak Creek’s The Imagine Project launches Spread Love Campaign

Oak Creek-based nonprofit The Imagine Project launched its inaugural Spread Love Campaign on Sept. 10.
Running through Sept. 30, the initiative aims to collect 200 inspiring stories and build a network of 250 monthly donors to support preventative mental health program in local schools and community groups.
The Imagine Project uses expressive writing to transform stress and challenges into empathy, hope and sustained community connection.
The launch is planned in conjunction with World Suicide Prevention Day, which was Sept. 10.
“Behind every struggle, there is a story eager to be heard and valued,” said Imagine Project Executive Director Vicki Hagen in a statement. “When individuals have an avenue to express what they have experienced; isolation fades, empathy grows and true healing begins.”
