Steamboat Wranglers hockey team splits games with Casper Bobcats

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Steamboat Wranglers (8-28) split their games with the Casper Bobcats (12-22) this weekend.

The Wranglers started the weekend off with an overtime loss, 5-4, to the Bobcats on Friday then bounced back with a 6-4 win Saturday.

JJ Landers led the Wranglers with three goals and two assists. Andrew DeMorat amassed a team-high four assists on the weekend while Tristen Wells added a pair of goals.

The Bobcats will return to face the Wranglers at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Howelsen Ice Arena.
