VIDEO: Steamboat girls soccer hosts two home games, boys lacrosse takes on tough competition

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The practice fields are cleared and the competition is back on schedule this week for spring sports in Routt County. The Steamboat Springs High School girls soccer team will host two home games while both lacrosse teams, tennis and track and field hit the road. The boys lacrosse team has already racked up an easy win this week over Summit, 14-2 and the girls were equally as successful on the road against Summit, defeating the Tigers 14-4. The Steamboat baseball team’s game was rescheduled for tomorrow night in Moffat County at 6 p.m., so far the varsity team has only played one game this season.

Steamboat girls tennis vs. Poudre at Grand Junction, 12:30 p.m.

Friday, March 29
Steamboat girls lacrosse at Grand Junction, 4 p.m.
Steamboat girls tennis vs. Grand Junction at Grand Junction, noon
Soroco track and field at Meeker, 10 a.m.

Saturday, March 30
Steamboat girls lacrosse at Fruita Monument, 11 a.m.
Steamboat girls soccer vs. Palisade, 11 a.m.
Steamboat boys lacrosse at Thompson Valley, 2 p.m.
Steamboat girls tennis vs. Grand Junction at Grand Junction, noon
Soroco track and field at Cedaredge, 9 a.m.
Steamboat Springs and Hayden track and field at Grand Junction, noon
