Steamboat girls tennis takes home top three titles in Grand Junction tournament

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Steamboat Springs High School girls tennis team placed fifth in a competitive field of 12 teams this weekend in Grand Junction.

The Sailors No. 1 doubles team of juniors Lauren Ehrlich and Morgan Sauerbrey won the Western Slope Open Tournament in Grand Junction. Steamboat junior Noelle Cerone finished second overall in the tournament at No. 3 singles.

The No. 3 singles pair of seniors Maddie Heydon and Soria Rabanal took home a bronze medal.
