Steamboat girls tennis returns home, girls lacrosse continues success

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Both the Steamboat Springs High School girls lacrosse and tennis team will be at home this weekend. The Sailors lacrosse team (5-1) is currently riding a winning streak and will host Montrose (0-4) on Friday. Tennis hosts Aspen and Conifer at home following a competitive weekend in Grand Junction.

The Sailors boys lacrosse team (5-1) will travel this weekend to both Cheyenne Mountain (5-2) and Air Academy (3-3) to see how it measures up against Front Range competitors. The girls soccer team (5-2) will play at home on Monday against Eagle Valley (1-3).

Friday, April 5

Steamboat girls lacrosse vs. Montrose, 4 p.m.

Steamboat boys lacrosse at Cheyenne Mountain, 7 p.m.

Soroco track and field at Thomas Jefferson Twilight in Denver, 11:30 a.m.

Saturday, April 6

Steamboat and Hayden track and field at Eagle Valley, 9 a.m.

Steamboat girls lacrosse at Summit, 11 a.m.

Steamboat girls tennis vs. Aspen, Conifer, 11 a.m.

Steamboat boys lacrosse at Air Academy, Noon

Monday, April 8

Steamboat girls soccer vs. Eagle Valley, 6 p.m.
